Max was captain of the HBHS team for the 2010-11 season. His senior year, he led his team with the second most goals in a single season ever at HBHS. Following high school, Max was the captain at Goldenwest College where he led the team to a league title and was named the league MVP. This success led him to play for San Francisco State University where he made a position change to center back to help his team. Max was named captain of SFSU his senior year.
Max began coaching at HBHS as the head Frosh/Soph coach and ultimately became the assistant varsity coach under Sean Dick for three years. Also, Max has been a manager at TOCA for 8 years and counting.
